Corynn Wartgow, M.S., LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor I believe that healing begins with connection and compassion. My goal is to meet clients where they are at, while providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether clients are facing anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, substance use concerns, or just everyday stress, I am here to help them develop tools to grow.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point in 2020 and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) from the University of Wisconsin - Stout in 2022 with concentrations in alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA) and eating disorders. With experience providing both AODA and mental health counseling across both residential and outpatient clinical settings, I utilize techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Narrative therapy, play therapy, and other modalities to tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs. I am committed to ongoing learning to provide the most effective care, as therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel supported in their journey toward well-being. During my free time, I can be found spending time outdoors hiking and camping, reading, and listening to music. |
