Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate that outlines the expected cost of their mental health services. This estimate helps you understand potential charges before you begin care.
At Thrive Counseling and Assessment, Good Faith Estimates are provided to cash‑paying clients as part of the intake process. Your therapist will review the expected cost of services with you and provide a written estimate based on the information available at the time of your intake. Because every client’s needs and treatment plan are unique, the time period covered by the estimate may vary.
If your treatment plan changes or additional services are recommended, your therapist will discuss any updates with you. If you ever receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. If you have questions about your Good Faith Estimate or would like additional information, please contact us at [email protected].
