About Thrive Counseling and Assessment:
Thrive Counseling and Assessment is dedicated to empowering individuals to live fully and thrive. We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Mental Health Therapist to join our supportive team in Hudson and New Richmond. Our mission is to provide exceptional therapy by maintaining low caseloads for our therapists, ensuring each client receives the attention and care they deserve. We embrace and affirm people of all backgrounds, valuing diversity in race, ethnicity, culture, religion, socio-economic status, ability, gender, and sexual identity. Grounded in the belief in each person's capacity for change, we create a welcoming and relaxed environment where our clinicians, with their diverse experiences and wisdom, approach each individual with warmth and curiosity.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist or psychologist to deliver comprehensive clinical services to clients of all ages, addressing a wide range of behavioral and emotional needs. The selected candidate will have the chance to work with an experienced team of professional therapists and psychologists, receiving extensive administrative support and ongoing supervision or consultation as needed and required by state or supporting agencies.

Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clinical interventions that are safe, ethical, and consistent with the client's needs, promoting and sustaining mental health wellness.
  • Provide Group Therapy, Individual Counseling, and Family Counseling.
  • Offer consultation and facilitate referrals to appropriate levels of care and specialized services based on the client's needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and their families.

Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Complete all clinical documentation in a timely manner, aligned with the electronic medical record.
  • Maintain current professional license and adhere to ethical standards in accordance with the state governing board.
  • Consistently attend work on scheduled days and times in professional attire and with a professional demeanor.
  • Participate in consultation and/or Supervision Groups to discuss treatment planning and clinical interventions.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience treating/working with clients of all ages with behavioral and emotional challenges is highly preferred.
  • Must have a clinical license in LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LP. Individuals with training licenses (LPC-IT) are also encouraged to apply.
  • Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience working with families and community health and social service agencies.
  • Comfortable using a computer.
  • Ability to complete thorough clinical documentation.

Compensation:
We offer a competitive commission-based salary, allowing you to determine your caseload and schedule. While we do not require a minimum client load, we ask that you work collaboratively with the team to support their needs. This is a W2 position based on a 1099 contractor model, providing autonomy and flexibility. Although we do not offer health benefits or paid time off, we compensate at a rate that provides higher-than-average industry salaries.

At Thrive, we are committed to 'showing up' for every client and every session, honoring the trust placed in us to support their journey toward healing and growth. Thrive is also committed to “showing up” for our therapists, ensuring you are supported and have a flexible, healthy, balanced lifestyle with a generous income.
