Kristi Ische, M.S., LPCC, LADC
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor You might look like you have it all together, but underneath, you’re anxious, exhausted, and second-guessing yourself. I help perfectionists and deep thinkers explore what's driving these patterns so that they can reconnect with what they need. I am passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns that stem from past experiences, and get unstuck from emotions, beliefs, and behaviors that no longer serve them. I specialize in adolescents and young adults who experience issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, life-transitions, women's issues, attachment, substance use, and disordered eating.
I draw primarily from psychodynamic, IFS, schema, EMDR, somatic, and CBT approaches. My work is insight-oriented, trauma-informed, and utilizes the foundation of the therapeutic relationship to provide safety and meet you where you are. I enjoy challenging clients in a way that feels gentle but direct to create insight and help you achieve your goals. Making the first steps to begin therapy can feel overwhelming and vulnerable. I am honored to be part of your mental health journey and would love the opportunity to get to know you! I strive to make therapy a supportive place for you and recognize the importance of a good client-therapist fit. I graduated from University of Wisconsin - Stout in 2019 with an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am licensed in Minnesota as an LPCC and LADC, and in Wisconsin as an LPC. I have 7+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in crisis, residential, and outpatient settings. |
