Marissa Gramoll, M.S., LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator I believe the essence of therapy is meeting each person where they are at, while focusing on the importance of building the therapeutic relationship. Vulnerability can be scary and uncomfortable. I utilize an approach that offers a safe and compassionate environment where clients are able to share their experiences in a non-judgmental space. I work to help clients build awareness of their thoughts and behaviors, while centering on understanding how the past continues to impact the present.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in 2016 and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CHMC) from the University of Wisconsin – Stout in 2020 with concentrations in Eating Disorders and Child/Adolescent Counseling. I am also a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator (CPDPE). I have experience working with individuals of all ages; however, specialize in work with children, adolescents, women’s issues, trauma, and anxiety. I have additional experience working with ADHD, relational dynamics, anger management, and attachment. I tend to utilize an eclectic approach to services, but pull primarily from CBT, CPT, Person-Centered, Attachment Theory, and play modalities. |
