Exciting News: Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation Services Coming October 2025!
Thrive Counseling and Assessment is excited to announce that comprehensive psychological testing and evaluation services will be available in Eden Prairie, MN beginning October 2025. We are currently taking requests for October evaluations. If you submit a request by completing our contact form, we will contact you in mid-September to schedule your evaluation date for October.
What We Offer
We provide psychological evaluations for children (ages 6+), adolescents, and adults. Our assessments address a wide range of concerns, including:
- Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, dyslexia and other learning disabilities, intellectual disability, tic disorders (including Tourette Syndrome)
- Mental Health Conditions: Anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, conduct disorder, DMDD, intermittent explosive disorder, borderline personality features, and attachment-related concerns
- Disability Evaluations: For diagnostic clarification and treatment planning

Evaluations & Fees
At Thrive Counseling and Assessment, we offer three evaluation options to best meet the needs of our clients. Our team is happy to discuss which assessment is most appropriate for your specific situation. Our psychological evaluations are self-pay and considered out-of-network (OON) for insurance. Many insurance plans may offer partial reimbursement for evaluation services, and we are happy to provide a detailed Superbill to support your claim. 1. Comprehensive Neurodevelopmental Evaluation
- Fee: $2,800
- For complex questions about autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or multiple co-occurring conditions.
Includes 5–7 hours of direct testing, individualized assessment battery, and results meeting.
- Fee: $1,800
- For in-depth assessment of emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, tic disorders, mood disorders).
Includes 2–4 hours of direct testing, tailored assessments, and results meeting.
3. Abbreviated ADHD Evaluation
- Fee: $1200
A focused assessment for ADHD when no significant learning or neurodevelopmental concerns are present.
Includes 2–3 hours of direct testing, ADHD-specific measures, and results meeting.
Payment & Insurance
- Our psychological evaluation services are self-pay only, which allows us to deliver the most comprehensive and individualized care without the limitations of insurance billing. While we do not bill insurance directly, we are happy to provide a detailed Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
