Kristi Ische, M.S., LPCC, LADC
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Making the first steps to begin therapy can feel overwhelming and vulnerable. I am honored to be part of your mental health journey and would love the opportunity to get to know you. I enjoy working with clients who are interested in learning the "why" of what we do what we do and helping them get unstuck from negative thoughts, emotions, and underlying beliefs. I am passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, making connections between current patterns and past experiences, and empowering you to make decisions that best serve your goals.
I specialize in older adolescents and young adults who are living with difficulties related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, perfectionism, relationships, substance use, and disordered eating. I draw primarily from CBT, psychodynamic, mindfulness, somatic, and narrative approaches. My work is insight-oriented and utilizes the foundation of a therapeutic relationship to provide safety and meet you where you are at. I enjoy challenging clients in a way that feels curious and exploratory to support growth and learning. I graduated from University of Wisconsin - Stout in 2019 with an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am licensed in Wisconsin as an LPC and in Minnesota as an LPCC and LADC. I have 6+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in crisis, residential, and outpatient settings (both dual-diagnosis and mental health)." |
